Annah Moyo-Kupeta

Executive Director of the Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation (CSVR), South Africa.

She is a human rights lawyer with 16 years’ experience working in the legal and human rights fields, with a specific focus on legal research, gender, regional litigation, policy-making, policy and legislative review and analysis, and development of continental policies and soft law instruments, including studies, guidelines and general comments.


Annah is currently the Advocacy Programme Manager at the Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation, where she is leading the organisation’s advocacy work at the national, regional, and international levels.


She has a vision of an Africa that protects and promotes the rights of its citizens, especially women, in all their diversity, and restores the dignity and worth of victims of conflict and gross human rights violations – a continent committed to the peace, development and wellbeing of its people.
