A member of the UN Commission on Human Rights in South Sudan. He has worked in the fields of international conflict mediation, human rights, refugee law, criminal justice and supported transitional justice initiatives in several countries.

From 2016-2020, he was a member of the UN Mediation Support Unit Standby Team of Senior Mediation Advisers and has supported peace, dialogue and justice initiatives in Uganda, Yemen, Sudan, the Western Balkans, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe and South Sudan, among others.

Since 2010, he has been an adviser to the African Union High Level Implementation Panel on Sudan and South Sudan. He is a member of the Institute for Integrated Transitions’ Law and Peace Practice Group, and a Tribunal Judge in the United Kingdom.
