Gentil Kasongo

Gentil Kasongo is a human rights researcher and transitional justice practitioner with over 10 years of experience in the Great Lakes region of Africa. He is currently based in the DRC where he leads Impunity Watch’s work on transitional justice.

Prior to joining Impunity Watch, he worked as a Consultant for Sonke Gender Justice and Adonaï Consulting. He holds a Master’s in Human Rights Law from the University of Cape Town (South Africa) and a law degree from the University of Goma (DRC).
