Luvano holds an Honours degree from the University of Cape Town (UCT), specialising in Justice and Transformation, and is currently reading for her MPhil in the same specialisation. She has worked as a teaching assistant in the Political Studies Department at UCT as well as a researcher for the newly formed Africa Justice and Transformation Network. Her research interests have been primarily around transitional justice, settler colonialism and land reform. She is currently working as an Investigations Intern at Open Secrets.
