Sibahle Muthwa

An Mphil candidate at the University of Cape Town.

Having recently completed an honours degree in transitional justice, writing on narratives surrounding memorialisation in post Apartheid South Africa she is now writing her dissertation on the Modes of resistance and political mobility of South African youth in the post Apartheid era.


Sibahle has previously interned as a researcher at The Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation (CSVR), exploring truth commissions on the African Continent and is now working as a researcher, podcast host and web designer for the Unfinished Business Disruptive Narratives about South Africa’s Abusive Past Project alongside Professor Helen Scanlon and the Foundation for Human Rights in South Africa.
