Wambui Mwangi
A Kenyan senior international law barrister and practitioner with the particular expertise on issues of international justice, international human rights, piracy, transitional justice, peace and conflict as well as humanitarian issues.
Her experience has spanned across Africa, Europe and the Americas, advising on international law and human rights policy issues and directives. She has worked with Anti-Slavery International, and for the UN at the International War Crimes Tribunals at both the Hague and in Arusha, as well as UNHQ in New York.
Ms. Wambui was also previously a member of Garden Court Chambers in London, focusing on criminal and immigration work. She is currently deployable civilian expert with UNDP, focusing on gender related matters and the rule of law.
