In July 2025, the African Transitional Justice Research Coalition, in collaboration with the ALN, Academy, hosted its first Gendered Violence Hub meeting in Nairobi, Kenya. This report synthesises discussions from the Hub’s discussions over African responses to gendered violence amid deepening crises of justice and accountability. Across sessions, participants reflected on the urgency of reimagining justice through African feminist and survivor-centered approaches.
